Dr. Ibuki Suga is our full-time pediatrician. Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Suga attended the University of Missouri-Colombia School of Medicine. After completing a medical rotation on a Native American reservation in New Mexico, Dr. Suga was inspired to complete his residency in pediatrics at the University of New Mexico.
Dr. Suga is passionate about pediatrics and finds joy in watching his patients grow from birth to adulthood. He is always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have about your child’s health.
Dr. Suga is a board-certified pediatrician. Prior to opening High Desert Pediatrics, Dr. Suga was the lead physician for the Presbyterian Pediatric Hospitalists Team and specialized in pediatric care of acutely ill children. He is active in the New Mexico medical society and was just voted as a Top 3 Pediatrician by Albuquerque the Magazine!
Elizabeth was born and raised in beautiful New Mexico. Since she was a child she always wanted to be a nurse, and has been in the field of nursing for over 15 years. She earned her Master’s degree from Simmons University in Boston. She loves working in pediatrics and is passionate about her community. In off time, Elizabeth enjoys baking, nature, and playing with her dogs.
Desiré is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in healthcare. She was born and raised in New Mexico and earned her Master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care while building trusted relationships with patients and their families. Outside of work, Desiré enjoys cooking and spending quality time with family and friends.
